Spy cams - How to chose the best spy cam for your needs. I am a spy cam expert, and the most commun question I get is, how do I choose the best spy cam? The answer is, it depends on what you need the spy cam for. There are 3 main types of spy cams: 1) wireless spy cams: these spy cams have 2 parts, the spy cam itself which you hide somewhere in your home and the wireless receiver which you need to connect to a TV, VCR or other recording device such as a DVR (digital video recorder) These spy cams are very easy to use, cheap and of good quality. 2) internet spy cams: these spy cams are the same as the wireless spy cams, except that instead of connecting the wireless receiver to a recording device, you connect it to a computer that has internet access. After a few setting, you will be able to go to any computer that has internet access and go to a special website that you only will know and be able to view your home from anywhere. 3) self-contained spy cams: these are the easiest spy cams to use. All you need to do is plug the spy cam to an electrical outlet and the spy cam will start working and recording into its internal DVR. When you are ready to view what the spy cam capture, you only need to connect it to your TV and press play. All the above spy cams are easy to use but you need to first think about what it is that you are trying to do, make a list of your needs and select the best one for your specific application.
